We believe there is one true, eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving, completely holy, just, and truthful.

 

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.

 

We believe that humankind was made in God’s image in order to know and enjoy Him, but we willfully rejected His Lordship. Because of this, sickness, death, and judgement entered the world. Now sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. We have an adversary, the devil, who wants to kill, steal, and destroy; but Jesus came to earth to give us abundant life.

 

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, who is both God and man, is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He came to earth from heaven, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross, and in doing so paid the full penalty for man’s sin. He was buried and rose again in total victory, defeating death and the demonic realm.

 

We believe that anyone can receive forgiveness, “new life,” and a restored relationship with God regardless of their past when they repent, believe, and receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, and submit to His will for their lives. The Holy Spirit then dwells within the believer, and they are accepted into the kingdom of God as God's own adopted sons and daughters. They are a ‘new creation’ because old things have passed away, and now all things are new.

 

We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we are to be baptised in water and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit baptism enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues, and have the power to be His witnesses.

 

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ here on earth and consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. Every believer is an integral and valuable part of His Church. Because God inhabits His Church, it is the vehicle through which His love and power will be released on earth. We believe in the necessity of believers meeting regularly together for fellowship, prayer, and the ‘breaking of bread.’

 

We believe that God has individually equipped every believer so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives, which is to worship and enjoy a relationship with God and continue the ministry of Jesus Christ here on earth. We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively advance the Kingdom of God in every sphere of life.

 

We believe that our eternal destination—either Heaven or hell—are real places and are determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again to rule and reign with His overcoming spotless bride, which is the Church.
